Love, After All (Part 10 – A Forever Kind of Love)

A year later, Daisy stood in front of the mirror, smoothing the lace on her dress. Her long sister locs cascaded down her back, adorned with delicate pearls, and her hazelnut eyes shimmered with emotion.

“You ready, baby?” Her mother peeked into the room, a rare softness in her voice.

Daisy met her gaze in the mirror and smiled. “Yeah. I am.”

Outside, Jimmie stood at the altar, his hands clasped, his heart pounding. He had never been more certain of anything in his life.

As the music started, Daisy stepped forward, her eyes locked on Jimmie’s. With every step, memories of their journey replayed in her mind—meeting at Bound & Bejeweled, slow mornings over coffee, deep conversations, Sunday dinners, and whispered promises of forever.

Now, forever was here.

When she reached him, Jimmie took her hands, his voice barely above a whisper. “You look like my future.”

Daisy squeezed his hands. “And you look like home.”

The ceremony was intimate, filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family. When the officiant pronounced them husband and wife, Jimmie didn’t hesitate. He pulled Daisy into his arms, pressing a deep, lingering kiss to her lips, sealing a love they had nurtured, chosen, and built together.

Later that evening, they danced under the stars, the hum of soft jazz filling the air.

Jimmie held Daisy close, pressing his forehead against hers. “So… what’s next, Mrs. Williams?”

Daisy chuckled. “More love. More life. More coffee dates.”

Jimmie grinned. “Sounds perfect.”

And as they swayed beneath the night sky, surrounded by the people they loved, Daisy knew this wasn’t the end of their story.

It was just the beginning.

The End. 💕
